Oh ça faisait longtemps, très longtemps qu’on l’attendait… Laura Veirs sera enfin de retour avec un nouvel album le 13 avril prochain intitulé « The Lookout ». Il y avait bien eu « Case Lang Veirs » en 2016, mais rien d’elle seule depuis « Warp & Weft » en 2013, bref, une éternité. Elle dévoile aujourd’hui un premier extrait aventureux intitulé « Everybody Needs You ». Une chose est sûre : we need Laura Veirs !

Et voici ce qu’elle en dit :

« My 10th album is done and dusted! I wrote songs every day for over a year to get this batch. My longtime producer (and husband) Tucker Martine recorded and produced it last Summer. Many dear friends played on it including special guests Sufjan Stevens and Jim James. It’s a concept album about the fragility of precious things. It’s about the importance of looking out for each other. I’m proud of this one and hope you enjoy it! Thanks to all involved! »
